【Abstract】 Arecoline is a muscarine-cholinergic receptoi-stimulant. It has shown that Arecoline significantly enhances spontaneous contraction of isolated ileum in guinea pigs, and appear dose-effect dependence relationship. The effect of Arecoline on enchancing the contraction amplitude of isolated ileum is significant, but is little on the contraction frequency. 95.2 mg/kg p.o.of Arecoline continuously for 7 days had no adverse effect in mice. This dosage is 13.8 times of clinical dosage in human beings.更多还原
