电流变液中介电颗粒在平行板电场中的运动
Motion of Dielectric Particles in Electrorheologica Fluids and Parallel-Plate Electrical Field
【摘要】 讨论了电流变液中介电颗粒在平行板电场中的运动.严格考虑了介电颗粒与极板的相互作用,利用特殊函数得到了封闭的积分表达式.其中偶极短与一组无穷多个镜象偶极矩之间的相互作用严格表达式,可以方便地用来处理电流变液中颗粒与极板的作用.得到的介电颗粒在平行板电场中的运动特性,与第4届国际电流变液讨论会上Kordonskii的实验定性符合得很好,从而为电流变液的极化模型提供了有意义的线索和证据.
【Abstract】 The motion of dielectric particles in ER fluid and parallel-plate electric field has been theoretically analyzed in this paper. The interaction between particles and electrode is strictly calculated, which results in an integral expression. The motion caused by particle polarization has been explained with a simplified model. The results obtained are qualitatively agreement with the experiment presented at the Forth International Conference on ER Fluid by Kordonski. It provides a significant evidence to the dipole model of ER fluid.
