高速IC互连线分布参数提取的一种新方法:采用Pade逼近的介质格林函数法
A Novel Method of Parameter Extraction for the lnterconnects in VHSlC by Pade Approximation Based Dielectric Green’s Function Approach
【摘要】 本文提出采用Pade逼近的介质格林函数方法计算多导体互连线分布参数.由于采用了分层介质的格林函数,只需在导体表面进行剖分,大大降低了未知变量的规模,本文首次提出利用Pade逼近对Laplace方程的级数形式的格林函数进行收敛性加速.文中给出了加速收敛的结果,表明这种方法是很有效的,利用本文提出的方法,计算了几种高速集成电路互连线的分布电容矩阵,计算结果与文献报道吻合,而计算效率明显提高。
【Abstract】 A novel method based on convergence acceleration of the dielectric Green’s function by Pade approximation is presented for the first time to calculate the capacitance matrix of interconnection lines embedded in multilayered dielectric media. In our approach, the segmentation is kept on the conductor surfaces so as to reduce the scale of unknowns and the dielectric Green’s functions converge very fast since Pads approximations are employed.The new method demonstrates improved computational efficiency due to the above stated advantages. The computed results show good agreement with those presented in previous publications.
