【Abstract】 The paper describes the subsidence in embankment of Yangtze River caused by neglect of underground geology in retaining wall design,soil corrosion in embankment of Han River due to defect drain work and caves under cement overburden caused by defect preventing work of embankment of Bohai Sea.The paper suggests that geological investigation,and qualitative test and periodical monitor before,during and after prevention and cure work of embankment are important measures for ensuring the security of embankment.更多还原
