【Abstract】 Straws and natural pasture are the chief cattle feeds in China. The more roughages cattle can consume, the more will they produce. However, straws and natural pasture without supplements usually are imbalanced in nutrients. Proper supplementation can improve dry matter intake. Substitution rate is an important index for intake. This paper has reviewed supplements for straws and pasture and energy supplement for roughages of housed cattle and substitution rate so as to increase intake and productivity of cattle.更多还原
