【Abstract】 The morphological development of young inflorescence in foxtail millet ( Setaria italica Beauv.) was systematically observed by means of eletronic scanning microscope.Comparison and discussion of morphological development of young inflorescence between spring foxtail millet and summer foxtail millet were made.Five systematic developmental stages of young inflorescence were suggested and questions such as the initiation of bristles were discussed.更多还原
