【Abstract】 The paper puts forward a method of bringing about the visit to simple variables in MIB based on SNMP. The corresponding system NMSS is the client software on HP UX of the HP9000/715 workstation. The visit to MIB,or NMSS makes it possible to collect dynamically statistic data in MIB of all kinds of network devices according to the demands of users,so the manager can know the random states of every layer in the network clearly and realize further many functions of network management.更多还原
