NO和O2在Pt(110)面上吸附的TDS和PEEM研究
STUDY OF ADSORPTION OF NITRIC OXIDE AND OXYGEN ON Pt(110) SURFACE BY TDS AND PEEM
【摘要】 采用热脱附和光电子发射显微镜研究了O2和NO在Pt(110)面上的吸附和共吸附.结果表明,室温条件下,NO在Pt(110)面上有端式和桥式两种不同的吸附方式.Pt(110)表面预吸附的原子态氧占据了NO进入桥式吸附的活性位,从而阻遏了NO在Pt表面发生解离反应必须经过的桥式吸附中间态的形式,进而降低了NO在Pt表面直接分解的能力.
【Abstract】 The adsorption and coadsorption of oxygen and nitric oxide on Pt(110) surface have been investigated by temperature desorption spectroscopy (TDS) and photoemission electron microscope (PEEM). The adsorption of nitric oxide on Pt(110) surface at elevated temperatures gives rise to two different adsorbed species, bridge bonded nitric oxide and terminally bonded nitric oxide. Atomic oxygen preadsorbed on the Pt(110) surface blocks the active sites for forming the bridge bonded nitric oxide and consequently decreases the ability of Pt(110) to directly dissociate nitric oxide.
