【Abstract】 Organomodifieed polyimethyl siloxanes surface active either in aqueous or even in organic systems depends on thekinds and numbers of modifying group. Oil soluble silo-canes improve the spreading ability of organic oils and waxes and used inmake-up and skin care formulations. Hydrophilically moisted silo-canes are mainly used in aqueous system such as shampoos andshower/foam bath formulations. The silicane glycols with long alkyl chain were effective W/O emulsions. The substitutions ofmethyl group in polydimethyl siloxanes by quaternary or amphoteric group can be directly used in hair care proucts.更多还原
