【Abstract】 In this paper, the ship -model correlation analysis was carried out with two kinds of methods, which were usual methods among international shipbuilding circle. The several correlation factors and charts, which wereused to carry out the prediction of ship speed , have shown comparable agreement.Meanwhile in this paper, a new correlation analysis method, that is so-called three dimensional correlation analysis method(CAD, n), is presented.Thus, the precision of predicting ship speed could well reach to ±(0.15-0.20)kn, that is international advanced level.更多还原
