【Abstract】 The purpose of this paper is to provide an approach to calculate the overall response of floating raft isolation system containing any number of masses and isolators under the excitations caused by machinery. An analytical model of the floating raft isolation system is established. The affection of damping on the system response is studied. Taking a practical floating raft isolation system as an example,the displacement and velocity response and the transmitted force to the foundation were computed using the Mode Summation Method and Finite Difference Numerical Computation Method respectively. The agreement of the results calculated by both methods proves the correctness of the model and the calculating process.更多还原
