萘锂络合物引发醋酸乙烯自由基聚合的研究

【摘要】 为研究阴离子聚合引发剂萘锂络合物是否可引发自由基聚合,进行了萘锂络合物引发醋酸乙烯聚合的实验。实验证明,萘锂络合物可以引发自由基聚合型单体醋酸乙烯的聚合,生成聚醋酸乙烯,反应转化率时间曲线和反应温度、反应时间对聚合物相对分子质量的影响规律符合自由基聚合的特征。证明了萘锂络合物不仅具有阴离子的性质,也具有自由基的性质,不仅可用于阴离子聚合,也可用于自由基聚合。

【Abstract】 To study the radical character of naphthalene lithium, which is a classical anionic initiator, the polymerization of vinyl acetate was initiated by it. It was shown that naphthalene lithium can initiate vinyl acetate, and that the dependencies of monomer conversion and polymer relative molecular mass upon reaction factors, e.g., the polymerization temperature, the reaction time, are as same as the regulations of radical polymerization. Therefore, it can be concluded that naphthalene lithium has both radical and anionic characters, and it can be used to initiate both radical and anionic polymerizations.
