波分复用和频分复用光纤通信技术研究

【摘要】 波分复用(WDM)和频分复用(FDM)技术可以用来充分开发光纤的宽频带特性,实现超大容量信息传输。在“八五”期间科研成果的基础上,完成了4×2.488Gbit/s双向154km无中继波分复用光纤通信系统,并已安装于京九九光缆干线广州—深圳段通信线路上作现场试验和试运行。该系统工作稳定可靠,在5个多月试运行中未发现误码。同时,完成4×155Mbit/s频分复用光纤通信实验系统的研制。该系统频道间距为0.1nm,传输距离为18km。系统实现了模块化结构,具有良好的稳定性,实测24h(小时)无误码。这一成果为FDM的应用打下了基础。

【Abstract】 Wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) and frequency division multiplexing(FDM) can be used to exploit the huge bandwidth of the optical fiber to transmit large capacity of information.A 4×2.488 Gbit/s two direction 154 km nonrepeatered WDM optical fiber communication system was built in our lab and was demonstrated with Guangzhou to Shengzhen telecommunication transmission.The system has been operating for more than 5 months stably and reliably.No error bits were detected during that period.In the meantime,a 4×155 Mbit/s FDM optical fiber communication system was also built.In the system, the channel spacing was 0.1nm,transmission distance was 18km.The system has been built in module structure,so that it was of good stability.No error bit was detected within 24 hours.The system can be used as a basis of application in optical fiber access networks.
