罗氏沼虾受精机制的细胞学研究(英文)

【摘要】 运用细胞学方法对罗氏沼虾的受精机理进行了初步研究。从卵巢中取出的成熟卵,表面略有皱褶,无受精孔,不同于一般的节肢动物。成熟精子基部侧边分布许多成束的管状结构,其末端呈连续泡状。精卵接触时,这些泡破裂,膜与卵表膜融合,泡内的糖复合物对精卵识别、粘附可能起着重要作用,从而使精子以基部侧边附着卵子表面。以后精子棘状部弯曲,以至其尖端接触卵表面,并进入卵中,导致基部翻卷到卵表上方,再随棘状部进入卵中。根据受精过程和酸性磷酸酶定位实验发现,罗氏沼虾精子棘状部具有顶体的功能。

【Abstract】 The mechanism of fertilization in Macrobrachium rosenbergii was analysed by cytological observations of the whole process of fertilization which was investigated with artificial insemination (in vitro) . Unlike most other arthropods, the Macrobrachium rosenbergii egg has no micropyles. The continuous vesicles at the tip of tubular bundles in the sperm base contain glycoconjugates which may function in the recognition and binding to the egg. In the course of fertilization, several sperms attach themselves to the egg with the lateral edge of the base, and then they bend their spikes to make the tips touch and penetrate into the egg. Only one of them can be completely incorporated into the egg with the spike entering first and the base following. The experiments of fertilization and location of acid phosphatase suggest that the spike of the sperm may play the role of acrosome.
