【Abstract】 Objective: To study the effects of Xiaochaihu Decoction(XCHD)on uropathogenic E. coli(UEC). Methods: In vitro bacterial inhibition test and in vitro adhesion of UEC to human uro-epithelial cell assay were used to investigate the anti-infectionary effects of XCHD. Results: Proliferation inhibitory effect of E. Coli treated with XCHD, and a significant reduction in number of UEC to human uro-epithelial cells was observed in the XCHD treated group at a non-inhibitory concentration of the medication in comparison with the control groups. Conclusion: It is possible that XCHD could act against urinary infection.更多还原
