热释光年代方法在地热调查中的应用

【摘要】 采用改进的热释光(TL)年代方法对日本若干地热区的地表变质岩作TL年龄测定.结果表明,大部分样品的天然TL强度,在高地热活动区小于100mGy/g,在中、低地热活动区为几十到几百mGy/g,在非地热活动区则在一大范围内变化:样品含石英时大于1000mGy/g,含方石英时则很小;与之相应的TL年龄分别为小于100,100~500和大于1000ka.总体上显示出地热活动性随变质年龄的增大而降低的负相关性.

【Abstract】 A improved TL dating method has been applied to sureface alteration rocks from some geothermal fields in the Hohi area, Kyushu, Japan. In the result, natural TL intensity of most samples is smaller than 100 mGy/g in very active geothermal field, n×10 to n×100 mGy/g in less active fields, and it ranges widely that altered rocks containing quartz have TL larger than 1 000 mGy/g while those containing cristoblite have small in non active fields. The relevant TL age is smaller than 100 ka, 100 to 500 ka, larger than 1 000 ka respectively, and on the whole they demonstrate negative interrelationship that geothermal activity becomes smaller as the alteration age becomes larger.
