通过有机溶剂渗入提高超甜玉米种子田间出苗率
Improving field seedling emergence of sh2 sweet corn by infusing via organic solvents
【摘要】 试验以sh2胚乳突变体(超甜3号)为试材,选用了3种有机溶剂进行种子渗入处理,并分早播、适播、迟播三期进行田间播种,考察该方法对提高超甜玉米种子田间出苗率、成苗率效果。试验结果表明,以甘油,或丙酮处理种子对提高早春低温条件下播种的超甜玉米种子田间出苗率、成苗率等有显著的效果,最高可提高田间出苗30.7%。
【Abstract】 Poor emergbnce and low seedling vigor are characteristics of many supersweet sweet corn (Zea mays L. )cultivars carrying the shrunken-2 (sh2 ) gene. This experiment was carried out in 1995, using one sh2 sweet corncultivar (named Supersweet No. 3)as material’ The sh2 sweet corn seeds were infused with several kinds of organicsolvents respectively,and then the seeds were planted in plot in three times from 20,March to 21,April. The fieldseedling emergence,stand establishment percentage and seedling growth were investigated. The results showed thetreatment with glycerine or actone could significantly improve the field seedling emergence,stand establishment ofsh2 sweet corn seeds under the condition of low temperature in early spring. The maxium range to improving theseedling emergence was 30. 7% higher than check.
