【Abstract】 Construction and development of township hospitals is a very concerning issue in the Decision on Health Reform and Development by the Central Committee of Communist Party of China and the State Council. The author analyzed some problems affecting or restraining the survival and development of township hospitals, such as illegal practice and disordered establishments affecting township hospitals, imperfect management system, inadequate reimbursement, weak leadership traits of hospital directors and others.
