【Abstract】 Plumbagin is a component extracted from Plunbago zeylamca Linn with antibacterial, anti-viral and anti-chlamydialeffects. An eyedrop containing 50μg/ml of plumbagin was prepared to treat eye diseases. 1984 eyes with trachoma and 111 eyes withacute keratitis or conjunctivitis were treated with this eyedrop. Compared with the control groups, the results were statistically,significant. We consider that it is an effective drug with less side-effects for preventing and treating eye diseases.更多还原
