【Abstract】 The concept of the total intelligence and integration is addressed to adapt the Concurrent Engineering envIronment and to upgrade the intelligence and integratlon of the inspection planning system- The application of the knowledge sharing and rensing technology in the concept is introduced in this paper. The model and the implementation of the component base and the inspection planning knowledge base which are based on the ontology are described in detail.
