【Abstract】 In this paper,an experiment was made to determine the kinetics of cell growth and major nutrients uptake in suspension culture of Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor. The biomass yield coefficients of sugar and nitrogen source were obtained. Based on the analyses of elemental composition and ash contents,the stoichiometry for cell growth and nutrient uptake was established,from which some yield coefficientS and respiratory quotient were predicted. Moreover. the oxygen and carbon balance equations for the culture were also established, which correlated cell growth rate and nutrient uptake rate with O2 consumption rate and CO2 yield rate.更多还原
