铥镱镥富集物的镧铈热还原研究
Study on La-reduction and Ce-reduction of the Enriched Oxides of Thulium Ytterbium and Lutecium
【摘要】 计算了镧、铈热还原铥镱镥富集物制取金属镱的基本热力学条件;并成功地进行了有关热还原试验.试验结果表明,在适宜技术条件下,可以获得纯度高于98%的金属镱,其金属直收率为85%~90%。文内探讨了原料中各主要稀土成分及其他非稀土杂质在还原时的行为走向,同时对镧、铈热还原的实用性作了简要的比较。
【Abstract】 The basic thermodynamic conditions of the process on producing ytterbium metal from the enriched oxides of Thulium,Ytterbium and Lutecium by La-reduction and Ce reduction have been calculated and reduction experiments were successfully carried out. The experiment results showed that under proper technical conditions, the ytterbium metal of more than 98% purity could be obtained in laboratory with direct recovery of 85%~90%.In this paper, behaviour of main rare earths components and other impurities during the reduc tion and their distribution in products have been investigated. Application comparison between La-reduction and Ce-reduction was breifly made.
