【Abstract】 Computer supported cooperated design is a new CAD environment. It is a multidisciplines synthesis system. It involves multiply technology such as CAD, database, network, AI, and so on. Engineering database management system is a tool for the management of design data and of the entire design process. It is also one of foundations of computer supported cooperative design.
