【Abstract】 Tissue factor pathway inhibitor( TFPI) is a recently identified natural anticoagulant protein which is capable of inhibiting factor X a and factor Ⅶ a/TF. It is indicated that the changes of TFPI in plasma are associated with some malignant tumors, sepsis, thrombosis and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Therefore, the study of TFPI will be helpful to the elucidation of the mechanism of those diseases and their diagnoses.
