粳稻新质源温敏核不育系──滇农S-2的选育
BREEDING OF DIANNONG S 2—A THERMO SENSITIVE GENIC MALE STERILE LINE WITH NEW CYTOPLASM FROM JAPANICA RICE
【摘要】 滇农S-2是以云南地方品种毫干与优良的籼稻品种V20杂交,再用黎明复交,按系统选育程序育成的新质源温敏核不育系。该不育系具有在较低温度下雄性败育而较高温下雄性恢复可育的特点。在昆明,不会出现可育性的转变,不育期长达90天以上,育性稳定,对光照长度不敏感,容易找到可靠的繁殖与制种地点。在一定的条件下其育性受一对或二对隐性核基因控制,容易育成新的温敏两系杂交水稻强优势组合。
【Abstract】 Diannong S 2,a thermo sensitive genic male sterile(TGMS) line,was developed from the progeny of the cross[(Haogan×V20)×Liming].It was sterile under lower temperature and fertile under higer temperature.With higher critical temperature,it had very stable sterility and very long sterile period (over 90 days)in Kunming,Yunnan,and it was safe to produce seed under the natural conditions in Yunnan.Furthermor,under certain condition,its fertility was controlled by one or two pairs of recessive genes.New hybrid rice combinations could be easily developed with this GMS line.
