【Abstract】 The expression of C-myc oncoprotein in 50 cases of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC)and the epithelium adjacent to ESCC was detected by LSAB immunohistochemical technique. 38 of 50 cases revealed a C-myc positive reaction in different degree. There was significant correlation between the grade of positive reaction and the degree of tissue differentiation. Only two cases of the tissue with atypical hyperplasia adjacent ESCC showed lightly C-myc positive staining. The activation of C-myc oncogene might be a delayed accident in the earcinogenesis of the eaophageal epithelium.更多还原
