【Abstract】 Discusses the synthesis of 2-(2’-methylthioethyl)-4, 5-dimethyl-△3-thiazoline, whichis obtained by reacting methional with aqueous ammonia to form the corresponding imine and subsequently reacting the imine with 3-mercapto-2-butanone.
