【Abstract】 The growth modes of pro-eutectic and eutectic graphite was compared and inves tigated using liquid queuching technique. The results showed that severe twisting of vermicular graphite is caused not by the effects of modifying elements, but by the in teraction of graphite and austenite. Modifying elements directly affect the growth in terface of graphite and change its growth mode which leads to different morphologies of graphite crystals.更多还原
