【Abstract】 The hypolipidemic effccts of lovastatin were examined in fats. ln hyperlipidcmicrats induced by feeding high-fat diet,lovastatin (60mg/kg.d.14d) lowered serum TC(-33.4%,P<0.01) and TC/HDL (33. 4% P<0.01) associatcd with signinficant redllctions in liver TC(-27.5% P<0.01), TG(-29.8% P<0.05) and total fat (-51.3% P<0.0).
