【Abstract】 A method of communications between ETHERNET and ATM networks is studied. The hardware and software of the gateway for communications between the two networks are designed and implemented, with an effective algorithm for ATM cells head error control coding suggested and the programming method for controlling the communicaitons card in ETHERNET systematically summarized. The experimental results prove that this method realizes the transparent transmission of ETHERNET data packets in B ISDN with ATM cell mode, with satisfactory results.更多还原
