【Abstract】 The reform and the development of the modern education was the base of the origin of the modern physical education. The Westernization Movement brought the physical education into the school education. And the Consti-tutioal Reform and Modernization facilitated the formation of the modern physical education thought. The physical education in the missionary school and the sports exercise in the Young Men’s Christian Association significantly affected the spread of the western physical education in China.更多还原
