中美本科体育师范教育的比较研究
Professional Preparation of Physical Education Teachers at the Undergraduate Level:An Analysis and comparison Between China and the United States
【摘要】 主要从学生入学入专业要求、课程内容和课程结构等方面,对中美两国本科体育师资培养进行了分析和比较。中国的特点是入学甄别相当严格;专业课程学习占75%,且强调运动技术技能的学习。美国的特点是公共必修课程内容广泛,约占1/3,强调职业师范教育,对未来教师建有一套完整的遴选体制。
【Abstract】 This study examined and compared the practices of professional preparation oi undergraduate physical education teachers Between China and the United States. Topics covered in this study included the admission,curriculum content ,and curriculum structure. The most significant characteristics of Chinese Programs were that the selective admissions were strict and the major course of study consumed as much as 75% of the total teaching hours with emphasis on sports skill learning While the most impressive features of the American programs were that the general education comprised of lone third of the total program with a broad coverage of liberal and scientific knowledge base, requirements for professional education were highly emphasized and these requiremints were reflected by the stringent admission and retention standards to teacher education,the length of the directed teaching experience,and the system of teacher licensure.
