【Abstract】 In this paper,the debate on several proposed ideas about congestion controland avoidance in high-speed networks concerning prior-reservation of resources versus walk-in service,open-loop control versus feedback control, rate-based control versus window-basedcontrol and router-based control versus source-based conrtol is presented. It is pointed out thata single congestion scheme is not sufficient,and a combination of several schemes is required forcompleting congestion management in a network.更多还原
