【Abstract】 In China, bee products (e. g. honey, royal jelly, bee pollen etc. ) are traditional health keeping foods. Up to now, bee products become warmly welcome in the world. Basing on the history and present situation of bee products and health - keeping foods,as far as the features, health -keeping effects and functional ingredients or factors of bee products are concerned, this study delineates that bee products show various advantages and features which are universally from health -keeping foods. Meanwhile,a future discussion on bee products’ prospects in health -keeping foods is presented.
