【Abstract】 his paper reviews the syntheses and chemistry of 5,5ethylene Meldrum’s acid and its derivatives. They could be synthesized from 5,5dihalo Meldrum’s acid, cyclopropane 1,1dicarboxylic acid, 5alkene Meldrum’s acid, 5(αthiobutyl) Meldrum’s acid and arsonium or bismuthonium ylide. Their reactions including hydrogenation, ring opening and /or expansion reaction, pyrolysis and isomerization are also reviewed in this paper.更多还原
