【Abstract】 This paper theoretically derived the equations for calculation of self diffusion coefficients of counter ions with unequal valence throuth a cation exchange membrane by conductivity or inter diffusion, respectively.The HCl-CuCl 2 system was experimentally studied by using a Poly(phenylene Oxide) polymer cation membrane. The self diffusion coefficients of Cu 2+ and H + were determined by these two methods and compared with each other. The results showed a good coincidence between them.更多还原
