【Abstract】 This paper describes the illegal migrants in Hong Kong from China’s mainland since 1950s,with a particular attention given to the two illegal migration booms occurred in the difficult time and the late 1970s and early 1980s, respectively. The effectiveness of checking illegal migration by administrative and legal means is limited in the case of Hong Kong, and the fundamental way to resolve illegal migration of population is, as argued in this paper, to reduce regional differences.更多还原
