【Abstract】 It is thought that general machine oil for quench can’t meet the requirement of parts on cooling characteristic of quench. So suggestions on improving quench oil’s cooling characteristic were given, such as using low viscoity quench oil, raising service temperature of quench oil and adding quench oil complex additives to oil and so on.
