【Abstract】 Stem borer (Rhytidodera bowri14ii White) is one of the most important pests attack- ing mango (Mangifera indica ) in China. It is distributed over the area where mango is grown in Hainan Province. The damage to mango caused by the infestation of the stem borer varied, depending on the history of mango growing, tree age, variety and technical level of agronomy and plant protection.
