【Abstract】 B - spline method is an effective tool in geometric modelling for complex curve and surface representation. In this paper, the setoOf characteristic points of engine piston profile is obtained reasonably from its blueprint. Based on this, a new representation of piston profile is proposed by using the uniform bi - cubic B - spline surface integration. It can be extensively used in modelling and imitating of advanced piston profile.更多还原
