【Abstract】 The plant growth regulator "79401" was extracted with a mixed solvent of methanol-ammonia solution through a analogous to chromatographic mode. The extract was purifiedby liquid-liquid partition which was made in different pH value solution. The major twoingredient, 01 and 02, were determined by spectrofluorometry and capillary gas chro-matography respectively. The average recoveries of fortified 01 and 02 ranged from 84. 5%～98. 6% with coefficients of variation of O. 86% ～16. 09%.
