【Abstract】 The synthesis of 5 methyl hydantoin from NaCN, (NH 4) 2CO 3 and CH 3CHO under normal pressure in only one step is proposed. The pure product can be obtained by recrystalization. The optimal operating canditions of the synthesis are: reaction temperature 75℃, reaction time 3 h, the feeding ratio of NaCN to (NH 4) 2CO 3 1∶2, the pH value 2, the acidified reflux time 2 h.更多还原
