【Abstract】 Objective:To study the electroencephalographic(EEG)changes in patients with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome.Method:A retrospective analysis of EEG of 56 patients with Gilles de la Tourette syndrome was made.Results:57 1% of the EEG were found abnormal,the majority of which were mild to moderate(84 4%).Background slow wave and paroxysmal multiple high θ wave or very high voltage δ activity were common findings.8 9% of subjects showed spike and sharp waves.Discussion:EEG changes in Gilles de la Tourette syndrome are non-specific indicating non-specific physical brain damage.Contributing causes include nerve conducting defect,cortical immaturity and epileptic activity.更多还原
