【Abstract】 The purpose of this study was to evaluate the characters of dental arch at the stage of early permanent dentition on operated unilateral complete cleft lip and palate patients. The subjects in this study were form two,groups, the cleft gorup was composed of 19 male and 14 female from 13 to 16 years old. The control groupincluded 38 male and 26 female of the similar age to the cleft gorup. All the measurements were obtained byone investigator, intraexaminer and interexaminer reliability were predetermined at O. 5mm. The dental model analysis indicates: (1) the height of the pa1ate decreases evidently. (2) all the measurements of maxillarywidths and lengths are significantly smaller tban the normal dementions except the width between maxillarytuberosity. (3)the growth and development of the maxillary basal bone and denta1 arch shows significant positive correlation.更多还原
