【Abstract】 The fact that some designers gave up the professional software special compiled for water and sewage engineering design and returned to use the basic AutoCAD was discussed. The authors of this paper indicated that sound understanding of the radical purpose and the basic law of "design" is absolutely essential to make best structure of a CAD software.
