【Abstract】 The optimum conditions have been studied on which the 1naphthylacetic acid and methanol are esterified into methyl 1naphthylacetate in the presence of the phosphotungstic acid catalyst.The catalyst is 3% of feedstock,the mole ratio of alcohol to carboxylic acid is 16∶1,the reaction time is 3 hours and reaction temperature is 80℃.Under the optimum conditions the yield and purity of esters are above 96% and 99.6% respectively.更多还原
