【Abstract】 Using the boundary element method,this paper offers a method for calculating the interaction forces between two ships with one overtaking the other in shallow water.Three dimensional ship models are used.Vortexes,sources and dipoles are distributed on the ship body surface,and the separation of vortex is taken into consideration.The method of images is used in order to represent the shallow water effect.The calculating results from this method are compared with those from other theoretical approaches.更多还原
