【Abstract】 In vitro culture of corneal epithelium of 10 days chick embryonic eyes showed that a prominent effect of cells proliferation induced by epidermal growth factor (EGF) of mouse. The cornealepithelian thickness increased 9. 43 times than that of the normal embryonic eyes without mouseEGF after cultured 24 hours. The results of the experiment suggested that the corneal epitheliumof chick embryo cultured in vitro could be a simple, effective and reliable bioassay method to measure the activity of epidermal growth factor.更多还原
