复杂物体间的距离
DISTANCE BETWEEN COMPLEX OBJECTS
【摘要】 物体间距离的计算在布局问题、动态系统模拟、机器人路径规划及干涉检验等领域具有重要意义。本文提出了基于八叉树的计算方法、用以计算复杂物体间的分离、干涉及定向距离。该方法借助Minkowski差及树的遍历等手段,较好地解决了复杂物体之间的距离计算问题
【Abstract】 It is important to compute the distance between objects in some fields such as packing problems, dynamic simulation systems, path planning of robots and collision detection. In this paper, an octree based method is proposed to compute separate distances, interference ones and directional ones between complex objects. The problem for computing the distance between complex objects is solved well by means of Minkowski differences and the traversal of tree traverse.
