【Abstract】 The paper dealed with reheated eutectic transformation and heat fatigue resistance for boronized 3Cr2W8V steel. The experiments showed, boronized steel is heated to over 1080℃, boronized layer will generate a eutectic transformation that will be first intersection between Fe 2B and γ Fe, then developed toward to both sides. After boronized, steel is heated to 1050℃, oil cooled and tempered at 620℃. Surface bornized layer is perfect, and temper martensite is inside transition layer. Thus, there existed high hardness and high wear resistance on workpiece surface, high strength and toughness in workpiece core. Taking the complex strengthening measurment, heat fatigue resistance for 3Cr2W8V steel will be raised markedly.
